Faith Firsts: Holy Communion

On Reformation Sunday, October 26, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Cheyenne, Wyoming joyfully celebrated its young members as they received their First Communion. With their parents by their side, the children gathered for two classes leading up to Reformation Sunday where they learned the meaning of the Lord’s Supper — Jesus’ real presence and promise of forgiveness, life, and salvation. This video highlights some of the participants and the shared preparation around the table where they learned God loves them and all are welcome.
