New Beginnings Worshipping Community: Hope is Not Contraband

Stop by the New Beginnings table and discover how hope is taking root behind prison walls. We are a congregation that just happens to worship inside the Denver Women’s Prison and a community grounded in the belief that no one is beyond grace, and that transformation happens through connection, dignity, and love. At New Beginnings, we walk alongside justice impacted and incarcerated people through worship, pastoral care, and community-building inside the prison. On the outside, we partner with congregations to provide re-entry support and accompaniment to those leaving prison. And…we want to partner with you! Come learn about prison ministry, hear stories of resilience and faith, and explore ways your congregation can support or get involved. We would love to meet you (and we have stickers, candy, and snacks).
