Pastor Nicole Garcia

Minister of Word and Sacrament--Pastor of Epiphany Lutheran Church in Denver.

Sense of Call: I have been called to serve as the pastor of Epiphany Lutheran Church in Denver. I have been in this part-time call for 18 months and now feel that I have integrated into the congregation to the point where I am ready to serve the Rocky Mountain Synod at the synod level.

Skills/Experiences: I have been a member of the Rocky Mountain Synod since October 2003 and an ordained minister since November 2019. I currently serve on the Outside Council of New Beginnings Worshipping Community. My past experience includes being a member of the Board of Directors of Lutherans Concerned/North America (2008-2014) and was one of the co-chairs of the board when we rebranded to become ReconcilingWorks in 2013. I have previously served on the Board of Directors of Rocky Mountain Equality and One Colorado.

Service Activities: I am only serving as a member of the Outside Council of New Beginnings Worshipping Community. I have served as a facilitator with Pride Family Camp at Cathedral Ridge through the Episcopal Diocese for the past two years and will also fill that role in June 2026. I am a novice with the Order of Lutheran Franciscans and am permitted to use the title of "Sister"
