Campus Ministry Committee Nominees
The Campus Ministry Committee is focused on outreach to students/faculty/staff at institutions of higher education within the synod territory. It supports campus ministry agencies, develops budgets and grant applications, and encourages new models of ministry.
Ann Morawski
Retired Pastor
Sense of Call: I've been a pastor for 41 years, most often serving academic communities and ministering with young adults. It is essential that we honor their voices and experience and as we move into the future. College campuses may be our greatest mission field. They are places where the Holy Spirit is living and active in ever new and challenging ways.
Skills/Experiences: I served as a layperson in campus ministry from 1975 to 1982 and as a campus pastor from 1999 to my retirement in 2017. Since then I have volunteered with the English Lutheran Ministry in Budapest, which includes many international students from around the world.
Service Activities: Volunteer with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hungary, Sunday school teacher and church council member at Holy Cross Albuquerque, LAM-NM, Church Women United, Bread for the World, teacher of the Bible and nonviolence, supply pastor, adjunct faculty in the Indigenous Studies Program at Vancouver School of Theology.

Lay Leader
Sense of Call: The call to serve has always been a part of my life, even before I discovered the church. The Synod supports the kind of humanitarian efforts that are essential to the wellbeing of our fellow man. Young adults, like me, tend to have energy they want to use to uplift everyone they can; the church can give them the opportunity to connect not only with humanitarian efforts, but also with God. As a student who was primarily moved to action through the Lutheran Episcopal Campus Ministry, I am called to spread the same good news that brought me to where I am.
Skills/Experiences: Since January of 2026, I've worked as the Music and Worship Minister at the Lutheran Episcopal Campus Ministry, where I've also served as a board member and a first point-of-contact with potential new members. Much of the work I do involves working with the other members of the organization to plan and implement programs to expand our reach. I was also a member of and subsequently the president of a charitable organization throughout high school, which gave me a good deal of insight into the inner workings of a non-profit.

Sense of Call: Campus ministry is very important to me. As a CSU Fort Collins grad and 4 yr member of campus ministry as a student, I found my faith and community there. Campus ministry is real transformation and faith forming. I feel a calling to give back to that community synod wide and advocate for that small but essential community that forms faith and young leaders.
Skills/Experiences: Project management skills, alumni of CSU Fort Collins campus ministry, conversation and humor, Bible study leader with campus ministry, Christian fraternity president
Service Activities: Sky ranch service volunteer, campus ministry for Collins service projects, worship music volunteer (guitar)
