Consultation Committee Nominees
The Consultation Committee (rostered + lay) is responsible for offering counsel when disputes or concerns arise in congregations, clusters, or involving rostered ministers; it helps the Bishop and Synod Council with mediation and resolution processes.

Sense of call: What does it mean to be part of the body of Christ in the world today? This is a question our baptism challenges us to ask, for we are called to witness to the radical love of God not only as individuals but as Christ’s church.
The consultation team is one of the ways we discern together what it means to live in Christ’s love and be messengers of God’s grace. This team is part of a conversation with the Bishop’s office that assists congregations to find pathways to healing and loving witness.
Skills/Experiences: I consider my work as part of this team is to offer my experience, serving as a pastor for over 40 years. My experience has been diverse, working in different synods as well as different pastoral roles .I have served in resorts, suburbs and small towns. For six years before retirement I served in interim transitional ministry in congregations along the Front Range of Colorado, during Covid, and as an interim director in a retreat center in the state of Washington. I come to this work bringing the resources of pastoral ministry, an acquaintance and attention to scripture and the liturgy of the church. I have training and practice in conflict resolution, sexual misconduct, systems work, transitions in individual and corporate life, non-profit management and coaching. I come to this process not as an expert but as a companion in Christ, offering my voice to the conversation.
Service Activities: I am a wife, mother and grandmother. Currently I live in an over-55 community and I serve as a listening friend as well as a support in times of need. We have a guest room in our house that is used frequently. I am a storyteller to children in the neighborhood school and I am a participant in groups that support my spiritual growth and involvement in issues of social justice.
